Hired Mr. Contractor to replace baseboards, remove an appliance enclosure and replace a cracked marble threshold. Scheduling an estimate was easy and Steve was responsive and helpful. The workers, Benny and Paul, were skillful, friendly and offered great suggestions and advice. They meticulously cleaned up and treated my home with respect. Prices were very reasonable. I had a great experience with this company and will definitely hire again. I recommend them without hesitation.

They listened to what we wanted and gave great ideas. They work fast and do a great job. Very detailed oriented! We'll definitely be using them again for any other projects!

So incredibly happy with the work recently done by Mr. Contractor. Full transformation of our primary bedroom suite. Everything looks amazing. They stayed on schedule…the carpenters and tradesmen were always on time and were very respectful of our home. The work site was always left tidy at the end of the work day. My wife and I could not be happier with the final result…beautiful. The before and after pictures speak for themselves. Highly recommend them.

Mr. Contractor finished our basement about 5 years ago and did a great job. This time they repaired our first and 2nd floors after a pipe burst. Everything was great from start to finish. Communication was excellent. They stayed on budget and on time and they were flexible. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to consider their team for any future projects.

We have worked with Ken and team over 3 homes and many years. Project sizes have ranged from major renovations costing 10s of thousands of dollars to smaller jobs. The team’s work, regardless of project size, is consistently excellent. We have had horrible contractors in the past and I’m so glad that we found this team. They are honest, don’t cut corners, and are willing to make changes to ensure we’re happy. Attached is the most recent work they did for us—they remediated mold we discovered in our kitchen, replaced the tile backsplash and added a beverage faucet and filter. Thanks guys!

We used Mr. Contractor for our rowhome roof deck a few years ago and were extremely pleased with their work. So when it was time to update our kitchen and bathroom, they were the first people we called. Ken came out and asked what the vision was and helped us figure out what would give us the most space in our small kitchen. They did a significant amount of work: knocked down a wall between powder room and kitchen to move the doorway and create room for a much larger refrigerator, put in a new ceiling, new flooring (which needed to be leveled first), new drywall, new fixtures/appliances/outlets, a custom-made butcher block on top of a roomy new pot cabinet, new molding and paint job. They did all this for an extremely reasonable price and had it completed in just a few weeks. While every job on a 100-year-old rowhome will have a few surprises- and ours did- I can say that any additional work was done at a very reasonable price and the whole job in the end didn’t stray far from the original quote. We even asked for some custom installs- like a glass transom in the wall between powder room and kitchen to bring more light in- and the guys were always willing to do whatever it took. We had a hard time finding the exact flooring & appliances we wanted. Ken was super patient; even personally met me at suppliers to help us order what we needed at a reasonable price. Communication was excellent; without fail we’d get a response same day. Whatever we needed, carpentry, electric, plumbing, even new outside siding, Ken had experienced knowledgeable guys to do every job every time. They show up when they say they will and they clean up after themselves - they are meticulous about this. Even a month after the work was done and paid for, we needed a few little extra things done in the kitchen and Ken got people to come right out. This is a business that stands by its work. I highly recommend Mr Contractor for any job. They will work incredibly hard for you.

My siblings and I got together to remodel the kitchen of our childhood family home. Mr. Contractor was the best decision I ever made. They were professional, timely, courteous, and transparent throughout the entire process. It was a project that involved tearing down the entire back wall, new floors, siding, wiring, new basement stairs, dry wall, paint etc… They are worth every penny. Will be working with them again in the near future.

Steve’s team did an excellent job replacing the siding on my West Philly bump out after having some water intrusion issues. His team was professional and clean-up was immaculate. Pricing was very fair and communication with Steve was leagues better than any other contractor I’ve worked with. While I haven’t had a heavy rain yet to test the functionally of the siding, I anticipate I will not have issues given the workmanship of the replacement. As a first time home owner who has been taken advantage of my other contractors, I’m happy to say I’ve found my go-to.
